UPDATE: The overflow bridge over the backwaters of the Mississippi River on the north edge of Sabula will be closed until late May, preventing traffic from using the new Savanna-Sabula Bridge between Iowa and Illinois. The new bridge opened in November 17, 2017 after years of construction. According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, the causeway bridge was in the process of being replaced and an issue occurred during construction. The replacement schedule is being accelerated, but the bridge will remain closed until a replacement is in place.

SEASON four of FX's Snowfall launched on February 24 with lots of drama and suspense. Snowfall follows the crack cocaine epidemic in its infancy in Los Angeles in the 1980s. Positive news ... Jay Briscoe's two young daughters have been released from the hospital -- one month after they were badly injured in a car crash that took the wrestler's life. Briscoe's wife, Ashley Pugh, shared the encouraging update on her Facebook page on Saturday ... showing a photo of the two girls in wheelchairs with smiles on their faces -- as they sat next to their brother.
